The Adventist Book Center in Glendale is re-opening on April 16!

Holy Week, Easter Vigil Service, Friday, April 18, 6:30 p.m., called Tenebrae, a Latin word meaning “darkness.” The service will begin in a darkened room with only the illumination of lighted candles. After each reading from the gospel narratives, a candle is extinguished until at the end only the center candle, symbolizing Christ, remains lit. A light meal will be provided. You will be moved through this meaningful and powerful remembrance of the Lord’s suffering and sacrifice. All are welcome.

Young Adults’ Open Door will not meet April 18, due to the Tenebrae service.

Please note that potluck this month will be the 4th Sabbath, April 26, rather than the usual 3rd Sabbath. The cuisine theme is Chinese.

Doctors and Nurses Are Needed on Sabbath. We would like to have a rotation of doctors and nurses on Sabbath mornings, in order to be prepared for a possible medical emergency. If you are willing to be part of a rotating Sabbath morning team, please contact the church office.
