Today’s flowers, given by Judson Ravi, are to celebrate Todd Leonard’s second year with us, going into his third year of ministry. We are grateful for him and his family, and look forward to many more years together!
Before November 1 remember to submit names of loved ones and church members who have passed away since last year’s Day of Remembrance! Please contact the church office.
Be the Church series concludes today. City Church is filled with amazing people and has a unique position in our city and our denomination. There is work that we can do here that few others can. Pastor Todd wants to join you in thinking about how we can embrace that uniqueness. How can we be the church? How can we have more than the “go to church” mentality that emphasizes ideas that only serve our spiritual needs? What practices and priorities can shift us towards creating safer community? What can we do to develop a more compassionate presence in Glendale and online? How can we pursue a deeper individual and communal spirituality?
Check out Pastor Todd’s blog with sermons, articles, and thoughts on his website, toddjleonard.com!

City Church’s Online Campus (www.citychurch-online.org) has expanded this month! On October 8 we began a new schedule every day of the week! That is 14 broadcasts per week! (Wednesdays will be when the new week’s broadcast begins.)
—Sunday through Friday at 8:00 p.m. Pacific Ttime & Eastern Time
—Saturday mornings at 11:00 a.m., Pacific Ttime & Eastern Time
*For our international friends, it is easy to see our broadcast times in your time zone. Just click on the Timezone drop-down arrow in the upper right corner.
A daily schedule means we can minister to almost anyone most of the time! This means, of course, that we still need a few more chat hosts for the services—welcoming viewers at the beginning, and wishing them God’s blessing at the end of the service. Contact us and we can show you how to become a chat host. It is easier than you think. Become the blessing to those who are unable to worship with us in person!
City Church Online is also re-broadcasting San Francisco's Church 1.0 service Sunday-Friday at 3:30 & 10:00 p.m., and Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Pacific Time. Live-streaming of Church 1.0 is every Saturday at 12:00-1:00 pm (PT) at http://new.livestream.com/accounts/5213395 (unless otherwise announced).
