John Boyd CravenWe are sad to announce the passing of John Boyd Craven, father of Dawn Rabello. Your expressions of love and prayers for the Rabello family are greatly appreciated. His funeral will be Tuesday, September 2, 2:00 p.m. at Glendale Forest Lawn, Church of the Recessional.

Young Adults’ Open Door will return Friday, September 5, 7:30 p.m. For more information, contact Director Arleene Chow.

Robert MarshWe are saddened to report the death of lifelong City Church member, Dr. Robert Marsh, on August 21. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2:00 p.m., sanctuary. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Center for Christian Bioethics, Loma Linda University School of Medicine.

City Church is hosting a German youth choir from October 1 to 5, but we still need your help housing kids, ages 13-16. If you have space to host any of these young people, please consider opening your home. Contact the church office for further information.

Glendale City Church will be a part of the AIDS Walk L.A., October 12! We are now registering participants; for more information see Pastor Arleene, or contact the church office.


Herman Kibble has developed a couple of creative outreach cards with easy-to-read biblical references on Sabbath and The Great Controversy, ideal to share with friends looking for answers. If interested, please speak to Herman or see the Media Center.
